Julz started her confectionary career working for her grandmother's chocolate shop, Sweet Heart Candies in Oakmont. She loves bringing smiles to peoples faces, by making custom cakes and goodies, anything from multi-tiered cakes, various chocolate dipped sweets, and anything you can imagine.

Julz is a culinary arts and pastry graduate, and has a business certificate. Not only does she expand her products by continuously experimenting with new recipes, she also continues to learn ways to help her customers and business.

She started her professional confectionary career by getting tables at local trade and vendor shows and by spreading her business by word of mouth, once people ran out of whatever goodies they were enjoying.

Julz has competed in various competitions and shows, winning various awards. She recently won "2023 Best Tasting Cookie" at the Mid-Atlantic Mother's Milk Bank Ultimate Cookie Table competition, featured on KDKA, Pittsburgh Today Live. What won this was a trio of cookies: Panettone, Lemon Ricotta, and Tiramisu cookie cups.
